Internal & operating clearance

The radial internal clearance is defined as the distance by which the inner ring can be moved radially in relation to the outer ring from one extreme position to the other.

The axial internal clearance is defined as the amount by which the inner ring can be moved in an axial direction in relation to the outer ring from one extreme position to the other.
